Sunday Funnies.... new adventures for the Old Folks!

We had another dose of being Nursery Leaders yesterday.... There were two Ward Conferences in Taylor for us.... The 1st one had 12 kids and the 2nd one had 9, ages 18 mos. to 3 years. They were as different as could be.... Actually the 1st one was the easiest, even though there were more. I think it had to be the time of day... I think the later one must have been right smack in the middle of their nap time.
Here, our young helpers are keeping the wee ones entertained with a way cool bubble machine... They loved it, and so did I. I'm going to have to get one for my grandkids... (Dad/Steve thinks it'd be for me... but really, no kidding, it'd be for the grannies! No, really, for the kids!!) :-)

The little ones actually were amazingly good. The lesson was on Reverence and some really seemed to 'get it'.... Others, well, maybe next time.

They loved singing time, especially the 'fun' songs like the smiley face/frowny face song (remember the face to the right??!! "...turn it upside down and smile that frown away!"), Popcorn Popping, and If You're Happy and You Know It.

Here, Dad/Steve is having some one-on-one time with his new best friend... Brighton.

This little guy took to him immedi- ately and kind of monop- olized his time. It was really cute.

We have 3 wards down and many more in the weeks to come. It was exhausting, but fun and we did survived it, so we are ready for next week....

Very cute! I love that little red-headed girl with her Scottish skirt. It was nice to see that Dad didn't forget his pen that always occupies his shirt pocket. You never know when you might need one! It looks like you guys are having fun.
