On August 27, 2008, our first grandchild, first grandson, and first missionary grandchild, Matt, returned to us from the Florida Orlando Mission. On the following Sunday, August 31st, he gave his report in church and did a great job! We are so pleased that he's home and represented the Lord and his family in such a fine way, setting the example for many more of the grandkids of what to do when you get to that special age of 19 for the boys and 21 for the girls.
Following Sacrament Meeting, we all met at Karen's house for some really yummy food and for some long awaited re-acquainting!

Addendum: 7:14 p.m. - Here is a picture of our very first fire of the season... Isn't it beautiful??!! It's dang chilly tonight, but worth it to get this...
