Little Jack took his sweet time getting here, but when he decided it was time, he did it in a hurry!

Here are Mac & Julie outside Yuma Regional Medical Center on Wednesday, October 22nd after having little Jack "turned". He was breech and there for not 'heading' for birth anytime soon. Julie didn't go into labor as a result of the flipping and Jack wasn't stressed, so they sent her home to wait it out. Here's Julie, home, trying to change Jack's mind. Why not stand around and work in the kitchen hoping gravity would do it's part? (Check out Kristi's face! tee hee) The doctors scheduled her to be induced on Friday afternoon, but there were several other ladies ahead of her, not to mention all the ones coming in already in labor, so she didn't get to go in until Sunday afternoon. They gave her some meds to help get the effacing (sp?) underway. They planned to give her petosin when the first stuff was finished, but when she turned over in bed, her water broke and things proceeded rapidly from there without the aid of the petosin.

Very soon, this man became Julie's new best friend! He's the anestheologist who does the epidural!! Ahhhh... sweet relief. Apparently, he does his job well!!! ... asleep during HARD labor...
Perhaps he does his job TOO well...? Grandpa CLAIMS he wasn't asleep... yeah, sure!Well, skipping all the gory pictures, we'll just jump to the cute ones. Here he is! In all his glory!
Everybody's checking him out.... the nurses...Momma and Poppa.... Even Grandpa gets a look-see... Three generations...Finally allowed to snooze... the sleep of the innocent....Welcome to our family, little Jack! We love you!
