Valentine's Day!

I guess I should say I've had a Valentine's Week!

Steve's been so funny!

The picture below is of all the little Valentine notes I've found around the house this week... They were tucked here and there for me to find: Under my pillow. Tucked in the neckline of a dress. In the silverware drawer. In the recipe drawer in the kitchen. In the fruit bowl. In my undies drawer... all over the place... It was so fun to find each of them.... I enjoyed this so much more than one big store-bought card, and he enjoyed waiting for my giggle as I found them.... Most people have no idea of this side of him... sure glad I do!
In April, we will have been married for 34 years... It seems he's just getting better and better with age... Keep it up, Babe! You're making great progress! :)

Below is a picture of where we slept last night... We decided to move the guest room mattress out to the living room and sleep in front of the fireplace. It is, of course, the coziest place in the house.... It was wonderful!! In fact, we left it there today and plan to enjoy it again tonight... It was kind of funny, though. We had Home Teachers come this afternoon after church, and there laid the bed... oh well.
Well, I hope you all had a great Valentine's Day, loving and being loved.

Awww, Mom, that is so sweet. It's nice to see that side of Dad. I seriously didn't know he had it in him. I'm proud of both of you for keeping the spark after all these years.

How jealous I am! We had George's big birthday bash the day before and it wasn't even until late Sunday evening (Valentines Day) that we even wished each other a happy day we were both tired! Then 'the kid' had friends over so it turned into a longer day ~ but worth it. Good on Steve, give him a hug from me and tell him what a 'maaannn' he is!!!! Love you both.
