We had a ball last Thursday night in Mesa watching our grandsons, Garrison & Jake, at the Pinewood Derby. Jake is really too old for the event, but he was standing in for a boy that couldn't be there. Garrison had a good time and won the "Bling Bling" award for the flashy gold trim on his car. The refreshments were really cute, too. They were Twinkies, turned with the flat side down with a toothpick piercing each end as axles and Junior Mints stuck on the 4 ends as wheels... clever. Good job, boys!
