His attendance at game creates extra buzz, excitement"
Apparently Pres. Monson is a regular at the Jazz games, but usually sitting in Jon Huntsman, Sr.'s private box suite, not almost front and center amongst the fans....on the 3rd row this time. He was there with his wife, Frances, on a date (sweet!) and had a wonderful time cheering, clapping, joking, waving to people, including the team, and patting Coach Sloan on the shoulder during a time out... he even patted a baby on the head...
Luckily, Pres. Monson wasn't disappointed... the Jazz won 121-101 against the LA Clippers.
President Monson smiled and said, "Oh, yes," when asked if he was a Jazz fan.
"Always have been," he said.
What a fun surprise to all in attendance!
(I wonder who and I what the girl behind him was texting!!!)
