I'm still among the living!

I can't believe how long it's been since I've posted anything!

TONS of stuff have gone on since my last one... THAT's not the problem. I think the big problem is that I'm just incredibly LAZY!!! I've just been out of the mood....

I have pictures, events, holidays, visits with kids, New Year's week visit from old friends, nursing duties for a daughter having had surgery (I REALLY missed a photo op there!!-haha), ... cool snow storms.... TONS of things I could write about! But, I just haven't got around to writing about them...

Guess I'm going thru a stage or phase or something! I actually haven't even been checking other blogs very often or doing much e-mailing! I think I'm somewhat depressed, too, because I had lost over 20 pounds and because of the holidays and just being stupid, I've gained many of them back! aaagggghhh!!! I hate dieting! My clothes feel terrible and my feet hurt again. Oh well. Luckily, Steve's doctors are unhappy with him because, for once in his life, HE's gained weight, too, and they want it off him! Misery does love company. Perhaps we will diet together... even tho HIS 10 pounds won't take nearly as long as my gazillion pounds will! oh well...

About a month ago, I got a Cricut Expressions machine and spent a lot of time online at eBay, Craig's List and Amazon.com looking for cartridges and other paraphenelia to go with it... trying to get the best prices, etc. That took up A LOT of time... following items and watching the bids, etc.

Then I got into looking for a Pressure Cooker/Canner online... again for the best prices. THAT, too, took up a lot of time. We are trying to get our Year Supply/Food Storage up to snuf, so I guess that's where most of my time has been being spent in the last couple of months....

Those are my excuses (as well as many more!) and I sticking to them! :>) ---tee hee!

I'll try not to go so long in the future... check back periodically and see how I do...
