I started this afghan close to 5 years ago, got busy and didn't finish it... I took it with us to Utah on our mission, being under the misconception that I'd have lots of cold, long, dark nights to work on it... Ha!! I never touched it. Anyway, we've been home now for nearly two years and the thing was haunting me! "Finish me! Finish me!", it called. So, a couple of weeks ago, I just resolved that I wasn't going to start another project until I finished this one! Having lots of birthdays in our family, as well as Julie's new baby coming, I knew this resolution would be a great motivator to get it done. Ta Da! It's finished and I love it! ....it's not the colors we decided to do this house in, but remarkably, it goes really well.
